About Me

I am a Syrian-born filmmaker and visual artist based in the United Kingdom. I began my career as a video journalist in Syria, filming during the conflict and documenting stories of displacement, survival and everyday life. Working in difficult and rapidly changing environments taught me to look beyond the headlines and focus on the human experiences behind them.​​ 

After moving to the UK, I developed my practice across documentary film, photography and socially engaged art. My journey between Syria and Britain continues to shape how I explore migration, identity, memory, belonging and resilience. 

Today, I work with communities, artists and cultural organisations to bring underrepresented stories to wider audiences through honest and human-centred storytelling.
