My Role in Multiplicity
As the Director & Filmmaker for Multiplicity, I was responsible for capturing the essence of this transformative project, documenting the journeys of the artists, the creative mentorship process, and screening it in the exhibition.
Directed & filmed a 45-minute documentary, showcasing the stories of artists of colour in Wales.
Captured workshops, artistic development, and personal reflections, highlighting themes of identity, belonging, and creative expression.
Worked closely with the project leads, curators, and mentors, ensuring an authentic representation of the project’s vision.
Edited and structured the film for exhibition, making it a key part of the Multiplicity showcase at Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
This documentary not only tells the story of the artists but also challenges traditional narratives in the arts, celebrating diverse voices and perspectives.
As the director and filmmaker, I captured the journey of these artists, documenting the impact of artistic mentorship and collaboration. Through workshops, creative development, and dialogue, Multiplicity provides a platform to challenge traditional narratives in the arts and celebrate the diverse communities shaping Wales today.
